Davide Cadeddu
Director of the Summer School, University of Milan
He is Associate Professor of Political Theories at the University of Milan. Lecturer for the Master in Public History promoted by the Department of Historical Studies and the Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation, he is also Executive Editor of “Glocalism: Journal of Culture, Politics and Innovation”. Cadeddu recently presented his own research on globalization and Italicity at the United Nations and the European Parliament’s Committee on Constitutional Affairs (AFCO).

Piero Bassetti
President of Globus et Locus
Besides leading the Globus et Locus Association, he is the President of Giannino Bassetti Foundation. For decades, he has held prominent political positions: he was the first President of the Lombardy Region from 1970-1974, a deputy of the Parliament of the Italian Republic from 1976-1982 as well as President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce abroad (CCIE) from 1999. He is Editor-in-Chief of “Glocalism: Journal of Culture, Politics and Innovation”.

Fabio Cassese
Vice general director of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation
Diplomat since 1989, after having held the position of Vice-consul and Director for the development of the Italian Permanent Representation at OCSE, he led various diplomatic missions, such as Vice-general Director at Cooperation section of Italian Ministry of foreign affairs. By now, he is involved in the Promotion of the ‘Sistema Paese’ as plenipotential Minister and performing the role of italian Ambassador in Jordan.

Graduated in Law at La Statale (University of Milan), he has been holding the position of general manager of Mercurio Misura srl since 2000. After his experience as sales manager at Melchioni SpA and general manager of Ermes Trading, he specialized himself in Direct Marketing and CRM, carrying out numerous consultancy and training activities and guiding the development of CRM projects and digital renewal for international corporation and italian SMEs.

Fabio Finotti
University of Pennsylvania
Since 1995, he has been Mariano Di Vito Professor of Italian Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, where he directed the Center for Italian Studies. He is the international president of AISLLI – Associazione Internazionale per gli Studi di Lingua e Letteratura Italiana (The International Association for Studies in Italian Language and Literature) which is affiliated with UNESCO. Finotti is also a board member of ISSNAF, the association of Italian scientists in the United States and is a regular partner of the Olympic Academy.

Raluca Andreea Hartea
Artist
Raluca Andreea Hartea is a visual artist specialized in studies on light and color. She holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts from NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti) and took a two year course in Analogic Psychology and Dynamic Hypnosis at CID_CNV in Milan. She has exhibited in galleries and institutions in Italy, Spain and China and has participated as guest speaker in design and illustration courses at the University of Milan, the Collegio di Milano and at the Scuola Internazionale di Comics in Rome.

Fortunato D'Amico
Curator of Forum Rebirth – Pistoletto Foundation

He is a promoter of interdisciplinary research and multicultural experiences applied to creative and projective processes. A successful author, he has organized many artistic projects, exhibitions and installations throughout Italy and in the most important international centers.
In Milan, he contributed to the “Reintegrated Apple” exposition.

Giorgio Armaroli
CEO of the Scripta Maneant Editors Group
Following a long period of study in both Italy and United States, Giorgio Armaroli was involved in editing the catalogues of the Vatican Museum, the National Library of Florence, the Central Museum of the Risorgimento and the British National Gallery. He led the Scripta Maneant publishing house to realize national and international volumes that were prestigious from a cultural and artistic point of view.

She devotes her energies to directing both traditional and web-based communication strategies. She specializes in cultural journalism and has curated the editing of catalogues and monographs relating to artists of Milan’s theatre scene.

Associate Professor of Business Economics at the University of Milan-Bicocca, where he directs the Triple Master Degree in International Business Development (MAIB). He is scientific coordinator of the Center for Business Studies, member of the Scientific Committee of the College of Milanese Universities and he is the curator of the Summer Schools in the BRIC countries.

Gastòn Fournier-Facio
Artistic Director, Abbiati Prize 2016
After the experience as Consul General at the Embassy of Costa Rica in London, he became the artistic coordinator of prestigious Italian institutions such as the Biennale di Venezia, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. Author of successful monographs in the field of music, he was honoured with the Austrian Decoration for Science and Art by the Republic of Austria. After being Artistic Coordinator of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, he received the “Franco Abbiati” Prize in 2016 for his activity at the Teatro Regio di Torino.

Director of the Altreitalie Center
Specialized in gender studies and migration history, she currently holds both the positions of Director at the Altreitalie Centre for the research of Italian migrations and Scientific Director of “Altreitalie”, journal of studies on Italian migrations in the world. She is member of the scientific board at the National Museum of Italian Emigration (Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

After a long career as a violinist and orchestra musician, he now holds the role of Music Director at the Teatro la Fenice of Venice, for which he is also Coordinator of the Artistic Area and director of many international tours.

She has been the Director of the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum, following a long career as a curator of events and exhibitions related to fashion. She has held the position of Director of the Ferragamo Foundation which was created to promote craftsmanship and Made in Italy.

Maria Teresa Celotti
Journalist
Journalist Maria Teresa Celotti has been national advisor of the Order of Journalists since 2007. She organized the encounter “Le parole del giornalismo” (The Words of Journalism) at the Festivaletteratura in Mantua. As coordinator of the Commissione pari opportunità (Committee for equal opportunities) she published her book “A different kind of information”. A member of the Ordine lombardo dei giornalisti (Lombard Order of Jouralists) from 2017, she edited the book “Donne in copertina” (Women on the Cover), a study on the women's weekly magazines, which will be presented in Mantua in September. She produced the show “Desdemona e le altre. Il femminicidio dalla letteratura alla cronaca`` (Desdemona and the others. Feminicide from literature to news) for G.i.U.l.i.A.

Specialized in the history of migration and social history of Italy, Patrizia Audenino is Associate Professor of Gender Studies at the University of Milan. She collaborates with several academic reviews such as “Altreitalie” and “Società e Storia”. She directs the “Gaetano Salvemini” series published by Rubettino Editions.

Director of the MIC Research Centre – Moda Immagine Consumi, University of Milan
Founder and Director of the MIC Centre for Fashion, Image and Consumer Culture at the University of Milan, she has spent years studying and teaching in the United States, including periods of research at the University of Stanford and the Rockefeller Archive Centre (NY). She collaborates with journals, newspapers, cultural reviews, TV and radio programs in Italy and worldwide.

President of Alessi Spa, he is considered as one of the fathers of Italian design. Leading his company since the 1970’s, he has become an ambassador of Italian style in the world, carrying out meticulous research for innovation in the fields of industrial design and handicraft. Collaborating with various prestigious international magazines, he has been honoured with important academic awards, including Brooklyn Museum‘s “Design Award for Lifetime Achievement” and an honorary PhD in Art from Lincoln University.

After his studies at the Accademia di Brera, he debuted in the Seventies as interior decoration’s artist. Thanks to his first successes as an interior designer and objects artisan in 1988 he founded his company, Promemonia, an internationally renowned brand that still today combines innovation and productive creativity with the qualitative rigor of Made in Italy design.

As General Director of Consorsorzio per la tutela del formaggio Asiago (Consortium for the Protection of Asiago Cheese), he carries out an activity of primary importance by protecting, promoting, enhancing and informing the consumer about Asiago DOP cheese. He is an ambassador of Italian food culture all over the world.

Raffaella Bombi
University of Udine
Professor of Glottology and Linguistics at the University of Udine, she is the President of the Italian Society of Glottology (2017-2019), Rafaella Bombi is coordinator of the PhD program in Linguistic and literary studies at the University of Udine and Trieste and Vice Director of the Department of Humanities and Cultural Heritage. She is a member of the Scientific Council of the Società italiana di E-learning (Italian E-Learning Society), coordinates the Scuola estiva di glottologia e linguistica (Summer School of Glottology and Linguistics) with Vincenzo Orioles and is director of the course in ``Identity Values and Entrepreneurship”, which focuses on descendants of Italian immigrants in the world.

Vincenzo Orioles

He is Professor of Glottology and Linguistics at the University of Udine. He is coordinator of the working group on policies and linguistic rights appointed by the Società italiana di glottologia (Italian Society of Glottology). He was a member of the Administrative Board and the Academic Senate of the University of Udine, where he held the position of Director of the Department of Glottology and Classical Philology as well as Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures. He coordinated a FIRB (Fondo per gli investimenti della ricerca di base) project of excellence with a focus on Italian language in the world. He directs and coordinates several editorial series including “Lingue, culture e testi” (Languages, cultures and texts) and “Lingue, linguaggi, metalinguaggio” (Languages and metalanguage) for the publishing house Il Calamo. He is the director of the journal `` Incontri Linguistici” (Linguistic Encounters).

He is Professor of Cultural Processes at the University of Verona. He is dedicated to the study of problems relating to culture and identity in communication and social processes. He was a member of the Advisory Board for ‘Assocamerestero’ on the subject of Made in Italy and is currently a member of the Strategic Committee Italics Wine Club for the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Mumbai.
